Below is a list of general information that you might want to know before you come to us.
Visa requirements
Most people can get a visa on arrival when they enter Indonesia, but please make sure before you come here. The best way to check this is to call the local Indonesian embassy. If you do need to get a visa before your arrival then you can get it from the Indonesian embassy.
Timezone
Bangka Island falls in the same timezone as e.g. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, which means we use GMT+8 and we do not have any Daylight Saving here in Indonesia.
Electricity
We have our own generator on the resort and we do our best to provide you with 24 hours of electricity a day. However since we care about the environment we use a combination of generators and batteries to provide the electricity. This means the generators do not have to run the whole day and batteries provide the necessary electricity during the night. This gives us at least 20 hours of electricity and usually even 24 hours of electricity per day.
The outlets are standard European size, and give you 220V, 50Hz.
