The boats
We have two beautiful wooden boats, 'Totohe' and 'Kikisi', that are custom made specific for diving.
Kikisi is made for a maximum of 4 divers and is perfect for diving around Bangka. Totohe is a little bit bigger and fits a maximum of 8 divers. This is also the bat that we use for day trips to e.g. Lembeh Strait and Bunaken National Marine Park.
Both boats are equipped with the following safety equipment:
- Life vests
- Emergency oxygen
- First Aid kit
- Dive flag / diver down flag
On deep dives we also provide safety stop equipment (a hang tank with regulator at 5 meters deep).
We also have two traditional outrigger boats, 'Ketintong' and 'Pangku', that you can use to go to the nearest village, or just peddle a little bit around the Island. Ketintong is fitted with a small (but modern) engine, while Pangku needs your skills with the peddle to go forwards.
Finally we also have a speedboat, 'Matano', that we use for the divers that really want to dive in private, because this boat only fits 2 divers!
